How critical can you be?

Obviously not a lot. Specially when you talk Politics #Merkel & #Berlusconi

So I lol'ed a lot when my teacher told me today that my newest article can't be published in the school's magazine since it might 'offend' someone.
Which is very ironic since the article's about me raging at Italy's prime minister, which is very ironic since I'm an Italian myself, and the most ironic part of all, is her thinking that someone might get offended by this article is slight nonsense, considering:

1. That my friend Raimundo and I are the only Italians of all the 1200 something school people, students + stuff + clean people included
2. Does she think Italy's prime minister reads our High school's magazine?

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't.

Highschool drama in Europe's Political High League

Let me introduce you to two of the most powerful politicians in Europe right now: Mrs Angela Merkel, Germany's current Federal Chancellor and Mr Silvio Berlusconi Italy's current prime minister.

These two politicians have gotten along well for the past few years, just as far someone with an IQ over 50 can get along with Berlusconi anyways.

He's famous for his heroic speeches a la 'Cavaliere Italiano', his on and off stories with Italy's high class strippers, prostitutes including underage girls and of course his bright smile, his way of ignoring the immense crisis in the country that he's supposed to be leading.

People don't find jobs anymore, the crime rate is constantly increasing, immigrants from North Africa keep in coming in, not to mention the economic crisis that is smashing Southern Europe and the world in general.

You'd think that Berlusconi would be kissing up to Germany, considering it being one of the few countries that isn't completely hopeless and is helping out Greece and others to prevent their economy to crash forever.

Italy needs Germany.

You'd hope Berlusconi would act like a responsible prime minister.

But no.

Bam, new scandal.

This time, according to "Il Fatto Quotidiano", Berlusconi started drama over a phone call, to a certain someone that is unknown yet, but the statement on the minister's behalf is just as clear as Italy's bank account. Merkel was according to him a "cuolona inchiavabile", which means very nicely translated "a useless, fat behind".

It also means that Berlusconi really doesn't care if Italy crashes into economic inferno and won't have anyone to help out.

Few other Italian politicians have stated that they are hoping that this story will make Berlusconi want to retire once and for all, but considering that the position as prime minister is saving him from jail, it's not a very realistic thing to hope.

Merkel hasn't given a statement about the whole story just yet, if that is a good or a really bad sign is open for discussion, one can only hope that she ignores Berlusconi's comment.

On the minister's behalf you could say that no one would expect the world to listen to their personal phone calls and it is in fact definite violation of privacy, on the other hand you shouldn't be calling anyone "a useless, fat behind" whoever you are. Either way this man might have had just had a bad day and forgot over a intimate phone call that he's prime minister of a country. Maybe it was just one of those days.

Or maybe it just wasn't.

One thing is for sure though. Someone needs to clear out the Italian parliament, kick out Silvio for good so this High school drama can end, followed by graduation and then Italy can finally move on, grow and become the power that it's always been.

With every day of school going by we are getting closer to christmas/ holiday/ snow/ coooookies!
It might seem far away but I have a feeling that these next 3 months will be going by really fast.
Time to organize your thoughts and think about christmas presents, not only for yourself but also for others (!). Since fam members often prefer self made photo albums for example, it might be a good idea to start already.

Don't forget to smile as bright as Santa always does in those coca cola commercials, christmas is the time to give and get, two of my favorite things to do.

Okay wait let me get a tissue this is gonna be heartbreaking.Ladies & gentlemen, you havent got a clue how I wish I wouldnt have to say this, BUT: summer has come to an end.BUT as I found myself sinking deeper and deeper into depression (starting school in xactly 4 days), I decided that this wasn't the way I should be spending 'The end'. As with everything in life, we all should consider the positive aspects in this. So here the top 5 reasons why you shouldn't be hanging yourself in your oh so loved chem classroom ~just yet. # One Friends. Friends. Friends. Friends. And friends. Especially after a long time apart, there are enough things to talk about. You could fill whole books with all that stuff. September is the non~boredom~month, meaning we will be doing all those things that we didn't do in summer + the things that we liked doing this summer = super busy us.To not turn it into a stressful month, keep it reasonable and unserstand that you can't do everything, see everyone. Just smile.

Summer Shopping June 2011

As I mentioned in my older post I spent the last two weeks in the South of France with a friend of mine. It was a very cute place at the sea side and I found some very interesting stuff to buy there, including all kind of medieval clothes in an 400 year old village, but the age didnt hold me back.
Here some of the things I bought and how I will be wearing them.

This is the flower dress I was talking about in my other post from today:

Zara Shirt that my gran bought for me in Milan, it lets you basiclly rate your day on a scale of 6 - 10 ahaha I love it.

This a dress that my dad bought me on his buisness trip to Greece, with a pair of very strong coloured, bright heels, red for example, it will look amazing. Perfect for Summers number one trend: Color Blocking.

Next my medieval white shirt that I bought in the weirdest shop ever (you wouldnt even dream of the things they sold there..), but nicely mixed it can make for a very summer, hippie look, only a hat is missing.

And this is me before going out for "un apperetivo" as we say in Italy. Plane white Zahra Shirt & dark blue Forever 21 jeans, Simplicity is the elegant and Italian way to go this summer.

SUMMER

THANK GOD, exams are over, school is done at least for a while and Im already back in good old Europe, enjoying the sudden freedom and boredom of no-school-everyday-life. Missing my bf and friends in Abu Dhabi way too much, but the shopping in France the last two weeks kind of made up for it.
Bought a cute little flower dress, which will, as it seems, never get out of fashion. Flowers are the green way to go this summer.

Yes Jessie J has made it very clear what she thinks of hollywood and the world in general ( "wanna make the world dance") and with provocative lyrics and outfits, that incredible voice god blessed her with and her adorable, british accent, I've been watching her climbing up the charts super fast.
Also in things of fashion Miss J has clear preferences: "Style should not have a brand, you need to always feel comfortable"

The 'Price Tag' singer also loves Vintage with a passion saying she feels like she's wearing someone else's story whenever she puts a piece on.

She never follows other peoples' style, but she does like Rihanna's and Nicki Minaj's fashion sense.
Jessie doesn't like limits and loves to take risks, well isn't fashion all about that? According to her not only fashion, but also the pop music scene, in which she's been for a while until she's now finally jumping on the billboard.
With no limits, super high heels, a cat suit (don't exactly know what she's talking about) that she mentions all the time in her Vevo Interview and two number 1 hits, this woman is going to give us lots of colorful surprises this year, in music and like wise in fashion - we shall be watching miss J

I discovered this woman on teenvogue.com/ videos, where she explains beautifully how to apply make-up for the holidays and not only do I really love the background music (ahhh soo relaxing&asian <3) but also it gave me a reality slap, that I need to take care of my skin, even if I'm tired and can't be bothered to clean my face, DOESN'T MATTER.

Michelle Phan is a real inspiration, check out her youtube channel, holy mary, she's such a cutie.
